An archive editorial reading
Demna made familiar garments behave differently: trench coats joined denim jackets, while slips and turtlenecks became connected pieces that could be worn in alternative arrangements. The apparent layering was also a construction method.
Banknote prints, souvenir-like accessories and monumental platform Crocs shifted everyday references into a luxury setting. The collection’s particular energy comes from that movement between recognition and distortion: corporate shirts, lingerie and practical outerwear become components of a deliberately unsettled wardrobe.
