Plato's Atlantis
An archive editorial reading
Plato’s Atlantis imagined an environmental reversal: rising water would require life to adapt again to the sea. Engineered prints drew on camouflage, aerial landscapes and changing species, making the clothed figure appear between terrestrial and aquatic states.
Tailored sleeves could meet jersey bodies, while snake-pattern jacquard and jellyfish imagery connected construction to transformation. Enamel paillettes produced iridescent surfaces across dresses, leggings and the Armadillo footwear. The details matter together: print, textile and silhouette establish a continuous organism rather than decoration applied to an otherwise conventional garment.
